World’s most accurate alignment lasers! We started in the machine-tool industry where high accuracy is a must for good part quality. To meet this challenge, we constantly had to improve our designs from the data we learned from field demonstrations, testing and trials. This set the stage for us to branch out to other industries, where typically accuracies were not as high but are a challenge nevertheless. Yes, we may offer systems that are too accurate for some applications but why settle for a system that merely “meets” your tolerances versus one that easily surpasses it? Engineered to be ultra-precise! Hamar Laser’s Ultra-Precision Series Laser Alignment Systems (our L-743, L-742, L-741 and L-740) feature ultra-precise laser planes with a flatness of 0.5 arc second (.00003 in/ft or 0.0025 mm/m) in a 180º sweep and 0.25 arc second (.000015 in/ft or 0.001 mm/m) in a 90º sweep. That’s 4 times flatter than any other laser alignment system on the market today!
This helps to make our flagship L-743 Ultra-Precision Triple Scan® Laser Alignment System the most accurate and versatile alignment tool on the market today. This powerful, yet easy-to-use system is ideal for quickly and accurately checking and fixing the geometry of almost all machining centers and excels at many other demanding applications.
